Farmer Browns has a great selection of vegetarian, vegan, and meat-lover options. They have a dine-in and takeout option but I’d highly recommend dining in because the atmosphere is worth it! They have 3 locations throughout Dublin but I’ve only been to the Rathmines location and it was a 10/10!
2) Sprezzatura Rathmines | Rathmines | Italian Food | $$
Sprezzatura is an Italian restaurant that is located in what looks like a refurbished brewery. It has a rustic atmosphere and is best for a few drinks before going out. However, their meals are also great quality. They said on their website, they ‘combine Italian ideas with Irish produce to create the freshest and tastiest pasta dishes in Dublin.’ In the restaurant they explain how they locally source all of their ingredients.

3) The Ramen Bar | Dublin | Japanese Food | $$
The Ramen Bar is a hidden gem in the center of Dublin. Walking into the restaurant you’d think there was only a small place to sit but it opens up to a large dining area and goes up 3 floors - in short, they have plenty of seating if you don't have a reservation. I highly recommend the Garlic Lovers or if you’re vegetarian you can ask for tofu as a replacement.

4) Platform 61 | Dublin | Modern European Food | $$
Two worlds: bottomless mimosas. Yes, that’s right, bottomless mimosas for brunch and lunch. The food was okay, maybe not worth the price but if you’re looking for a place with friends to get together, I’d highly recommend it. Its central location is ideal for a great meetup place.

5) 777 | Dublin | Mexican Food | $$
If you’re looking for a fun time and good Mexican food, look no further. The food is delicious and very filling, but the drinks are a whole different story! It might be because on Mondays they have a special on margaritas - 2 for €14. The fun doesn’t stop there, Tuesdays you can get two tacos for €7 and my favorite special, 777 Sundays where select dishes are €7.77. With the great deals and almost party-like atmosphere with fun music and staff - this is a must try.

These are my go to eateries but of course I'm still exploring Dublin and surrounding towns outside the city center. Let me know what you think and if you have any more recommendations!
