According to Our World in Data, 124 million Americans have received all of their vaccines, with 274 million doses administered! California, Texas, New York, Florida, and Pennsylvania are the top five states in terms of fully vaccinated residents, with an average of 37.82 percent. There are, however, states where almost half of the population has received all of their vaccinations. This is fantastic news for travelers!
As of May 18, 2021, these countries will allow vaccinated Americans to enter as tourists:
1) The Bahamas: They are accepting Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, and AstraZeneca vaccines with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention card or another government-issued vaccine record card as forms of proof.

2) Barbados: All travelers are required to present proof of a negative COVID test within three days prior to arrival. There is also a test done at the airport of arrival or approved accommodations. Then on the same day or between 1-2 days, the travelers can enjoy Barbados freely depending on the test results.

3) Belize: Vaccinated travelers need only to present a vaccination record card, with full inoculation completed at least two weeks before their arrival in Belize.

4) British Virgin Islands: Starting May 15, 2021, vaccinated travelers will still be required to undergo two COVID tests but can skip mandatory quarantine.

5) Croatia: Tourists who are 14 days out from receiving both doses of a two-dose vaccine or one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine will be exempt from having to show a negative test.

6) Cyprus: From May 10, 2021, tourists from 65 countries (including America) will not be required to undergo quarantine upon their arrival, if they hold a Digital Green Passport or present a negative result of the COVID-19 PCR test, not older than three days.

7) Ecuador: Effective March 22, 2021, anyone with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate or can present a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test taken no more than three days prior to arrival in Ecuador, or were diagnosed with and recovered from COVID-19 and are symptom-free. Children under two years of age are exempt.

8) Estonia: Effective February 2, 2021, anyone who has been vaccinated can enter the country without the mandatory 10-day quarantine and COVID-19 testing requirements. However, everyone must adhere to any public health measures that are in place in Estonia.

9) French Polynesia: As of May 1, 2021, vaccinated travelers who have been in the U.S. for 30 consecutive days prior to departure and strictly follow the new and improved entry and stay conditions are not subject to quarantine.

10) Georgia: As of February 1, 2021, fully vaccinated traveler from any country is allowed to enter Georgia as long as they present documentation confirming their COVID-19 vaccination status.

11) Greece: If travelers provide proof they are fully vaccinated or have a negative COVID-19 PCR test result carried out 72 hours prior to arrival they can enter Greece. However, all tourists will have to abide by any of Greece’s lockdown restrictions, such as the late-night curfew.

!2) Grenada: As of May 1, fully vaccinated travelers who are two weeks out from their second AstraZeneca, Pfizer, or Moderna shot or first Johnson & Johnson shot may not need to quarantine. Vaccinated travelers will still need to provide a negative PCR test result from no more than 72 hours prior to travel, have another test done at the airport, and then quarantine until those test results come back (up to 48 hours).

13) Guatemala: Since February 24, tourists must provide the COVID-19 vaccine certificate with the vaccination completed at least two weeks prior to arrival, a negative COVID-19 test was taken within 72 hours of arrival, or proof of having tested positive and recovered from COVID-19 within three months of arrival, according to the U.S. Embassy in Guatemala. Children under 10 are exempt.

14) Iceland: As of April 9, “everyone arriving in the country shall be tested at the borders as before, quarantined for five days, and undergo a second test upon finishing,” the Icelandic government says. Vaccinated travelers don’t have to quarantine but must go to their place of stay and wait for the initial test results. Everyone needs to pre-register before visiting the country.

15) Israel: The Israel Ministry of Tourism and the country’s Ministry of Health say that the country will begin welcoming vaccinated travelers back starting May 23, 2021.

16) Lithuania: If you are a Covid vaccine certificate holder, you won't need to present a negative PCR test nor to follow a quarantine.

17) Montenegro: Travelers must present either a negative PCR test from the previous 72 hours or proof that they received the second dose of a vaccine more than seven days before their arrival.

18) Nepal: All tourists must show either a negative PCR result taken 72 hours before boarding or “a document showing complete vaccination against COVID-19.” They’ll also need either a visa or recommendation letter from the department of tourism, proof of travel insurance, and a barcode obtained via an online application. Nepal's tourism board has a document outlining the latest protocol.

19) Romania: According to Matador Network, Travelers must prove that they have received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine and that at least 10 days have passed since the second dose.

20) Seychelles: In a March 29 advisory, the island nation of Seychelles announced that it’s welcoming all visitors regardless of vaccination status effective immediately, as long as they have a negative PCR test result from within 72 hours of travel. There’s no quarantine requirement, but they must have travel insurance and need to stay at licensed establishments or liveaboards. More information is in a PDF last updated at the end of March.

21) Slovenia: Travelers to Slovenia will be exempt from having to quarantine for 10 days on arrival if vaccinated. Each of the vaccines has a different set of rules so be sure to check the individual requirements.

22) Thailand: The Thai government is planning on allowing non-Thai travelers who have been vaccinated into the country. This would mean people arriving with proof of a COVID-19 vaccine will be exempt from the country’s current mandatory 16-day quarantine.
